Eileen Davidson stars as Ashley Abbott
on CBS' The Young and the Restless.
She reached stardom when she orgininated the role of Ashley Abbott on The Young and the Restless in 1982. Eileen has since appeard in films, primetime television and other daytime dramas. Eileen made television history by playing five roles on NBC's
Days of our Lives. Davidson's stunning performances as Kristen Blake DiMera, Susan Banks, Sister Mary Moira Banks, Thomas Banks and Penelope Kent earned Eileen her first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress.
Davidson returned to The Young and the Restless in 1999 and was nominated a second time for the Outstanding Lead Actress Emmy award in 2003. She met her husband Vince Van Patten on the set of The Young and the Restless and they now have a son named Jesse Thomas. She is also step mother to Duke and 'Flea'. Eileen has recently starred on CBS' The Bold and The Beautiful as Ashley Abbott but returned to The Young and the Restless in 2008. Eileen has also published two novels: Death in Daytime
and Dial Emmy for Murder. |
